New Horizons
Every 'odd' year (2011, 2013, 2015...), our Berkley education outside the classroom programme provides an exciting set of opportunities, known as New Horizons. Instead of going on a "camping" experience as a class, students select from a very wide range of activities.
In 2011 the options offered ranged from a $10 school-based activity to $550 experience, based on Great Barrier Island.
Each New Horizons programme offers a slightly different set of activities. A booklet outlining all the activities available will be sent home with your child. It is important that you read all options and then carefully match your interests. Each student is required to select 4 activities they wish to be enrolled in. You hav
e the opportunity to list these in order of p
