Teaming
Our Teaming programmes provide opportunities for students to develop skills and knowledge in Physical Education, Science, Second Language learning and other needs directed programmes.

Teams are scheduled for three 80 minute blocks of Teaming every six days. The blocks are separated into two halves of 40 minutes. The constant factor is Physical Education (PE). Students
spend 40 minutes of every Teaming block in PE. The other 40 minutes is spent in either Science or Second Language learning.

Physical Education
We believe that sport, physical activity and play are important for the personal growth and development of our students.

Competition is appropriate when the individual can direct  activity towards a personal challenge or standard as a form of positive growth and development.  Students are challenged with opportunities to participate in modified sporting inter team competitions and festivals.

Festivals and inter-team challenges are based on: basketball, softball, cricket, tennis, volleyball, indoor hockey, cross country, athletics, badminton, hockey, rugby, league, soccer, table tennis, gymnastics, aquatics, padder tennis, dance and touch.

Our Sport and Recreation Centre supports the promotion of these important programmes. PE is taught by our specialist Mr Peter McAuley, supported by a semi-specialist homeroom teacher.
