Tech Arts
The Tech-Arts team
covers two areas of the curriculum. Technology is delivered through
specialist teaching in Food and Materials Technology. The Arts is delivered
through specialist teaching in Visual Art, Music, and Drama.
In Year 7 and 8
students work in groups rotating through all of the five disciplines
over a year. Each group will have approximately 17 x 1 hour 20 minute
sessions in each of the five specialist areas.
In Year 9, Dance is added to the programme and, after completing each of the six specialist areas they select one to 'major' in.
