Berkley Zone
All
students who live within the home zone described below (and/or shown on
the attached map) shall be entitled to enrol at the school.
The
Berkley home zone commences at the corner of Eureka Rd and Holland Rd.
Travel west along Holland Rd in the Ruakura Rd intersections, then a
right into Ruakura Rd, (includes all houses opposite the intersection)
Travel west along Ruakura Rd to the intersection of Silverdale Rd and
Ruakura Rd. Continue west along Ruakura Rd to the Knighton Rd
intersection. Turn left into Knighton Rd at the roundabout commencing
at number 191 Knighton Rd, travelling through to the roundabout at Clyde
St. Turn right into Clyde St starting at number 274 Clyde St and
travel west along to the end of Clyde St, then take a direct line to a
point opposite the Waikato River.
Follow the river south
(includes east side only) to a point directly oppostie the Peacockes
Rd/Weston Lea Dr intersection (includes 214 Peacockes Rd, Weston Lea Dr
and Echo Bank), travel south along Peacockes Rd (includes all side
roads), to the Faiping Rd intersection. Turn left into Faiping Rd
travelling to its end, then take a direct line through to the Raynes
Rd/Middle Rd intersection.
Travel along Middle Rd (includes all
of Middle Rd) and into Narrows Rd to the Narrows Rd/Raynes Rd
intersection. At the intersection of Narrows Rd and Raynes Road, turn
right and travel along Raynes Rd through to the intersection with
Airport Rd. Turn right into Airport Rd and travel along to the Airport
Rd/Mystery Creek Rd intersection.
At the intersection of Mystery
Creek Rd and Airport Rd (includes 153 Airport Rd), turn left into
Mystery Creek Rd and travel along Mystery Creek/McEldownie Rd
intersections, (excludes McEldownie Rd). From the end of Mystery Creek
Rd take a line around the end of McEldownie Rd across to the SH 1
intersection with Hooker Rd. Turn left into SH 1 and travel north to
the SH 1/Pickering Rd intersection, then right into Pickering Rd and
travel along to the intersection with Pickering/Bruntwood/Peake Rds.
Turn left into Peakes Rd (includes number 480 Peakes Rd), travelling
along Peake Rd to the Peake Rd/Church Rd intersection. Turn left into
Victoria Rd (includes 574 Victoria Rd), travelling north through to the
Pukemoremore Rd intersection.
Turn right into Pukemoremore Rd
travelling through to the intersection with Scotsman Valley Rd (includes
all side roads). At the end of Pukemoremore Rd turn right into
Scotsman Valley Rd, following it through to the Starky Rd/Tahuroa Rd
intersection. Turn left into Tahuroa Rd travelling west through to the
intersection with Tauwhare Rd. Turn right into Tauwhare Rd travelling
through to the intersection of SH 26. Turn right into SH 26 travelling
through to the intersection with Schollum Rd and SH 26 (includes 1069 SH
26). Turn left into Schollum Rd and follow it to its end, then take a
direct line through to the intersection of Holland and Eureka Rds where
the zone description commenced.
The home zone includes both sides of all roads and streets unless otherwise stated.
Proof if residence within the home zone will be required.
Each
year applications for enrolment in the following year from in-zone
students will be sought by a date which will be published in a daily or
community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school. This
will enable the board to assess the number of places which can be made
available to students who live outside the home zone.
