Students had the opportunity to ‘take up the challenge’ and participate in a speech writing challenge during the first 3 weeks of Term 4. There were a wide range of topics explored from the ‘Importance of Music’, to ‘Why Siblings are a Good Thing’.
All students who participated presented at a high level and were commended on their delivery and content. Each student has had their speech videoed and some were selected to present their speech at a School Assembly.
The following students wrote speeches with exceptional content and presented their speeches with passion.
Avee Belhamine – Making A Difference
Lily Burgess-Munro – Te Reo Subtitles should be on TV
Ayaan Harunani – Child Poverty
We are delighted to announce that Sela Sisitoutai was selected to represent our school at the local Waikato Intermediate and Middle School speech competition. Sela crafted an outstanding speech and delivered this with sincerity and warmth. Congratulations on an exceptional achievement Sela!
