Kia ora,
My name is Abbie Hyde and along with Morgan Purcell, I teach in the Media Room. I have worked in Berkley for many years in a variety of roles around the school, including starting my teaching career here in 2006.
I love the creative challenge that the Media room brings and especially love inspiring students to create the many forms of media. In Media, we explore a range of media forms, such as radio, film, photography and print media. We also learn how to use a variety of exciting film and television equipment and technology in our purpose built TV and Audio Studio. T
When I'm not in the classroom I love getting behind the camera and taking photos of my children and our beautiful country. My family loves exploring our wonderful country and finding hidden gems and special places to relax at.
