Anna Tootill
Kia ora koutou katoa, my name is Anna Tootill.. I’m a proud parent of two tamariki, Luke (13) and Hayley (10). Luke had a fantastic experience at Berkley, and Hayley is looking forward to starting in 2027. As a family, we value strong school communities and the opportunities they create for young people to thrive. I’m passionate about education, wellbeing, and supporting learning environments where rangatahi feel safe, challenged and supported to succeed. It was Luke’s Berkley experience that led me to put my name forward for election in 2025.
I bring extensive governance, finance and legal experience, currently chairing the Water Safety New Zealand board and previously holding senior governance roles with Swimming New Zealand. I am a practising solicitor and a member of the Institute of Directors. Outside of work, our family loves being in and on the water, mountain biking, and heading to the snow in winter. I’m always keen to hear about whanau’s experiences at Berkley.
