My name is Miss Wilkinson, and I am the classroom teacher in Room 20 (Aranui). I am so excited to be your teacher this year and can't wait to get to know each of you. I hope you're ready for an exciting year filled with learning, new challenges, lots of fun, and plenty of memorable moments!
I was born in Christchurch and moved to Auckland in 2011 after the Christchurch earthquakes. I spent most of my childhood there before moving to Hamilton in 2023 to begin my studies to become a primary school teacher. Teaching has always been something I have been passionate about, and I feel incredibly lucky to be doing what I love.
Outside of school, I absolutely love animals! I grew up on a farm where I spent lots of time caring for animals and riding horses. Recently, I welcomed my very first pet of my own—a playful little kitten named Kora. She is full of energy, loves to play, and always keeps me smiling!
I am looking forward to an amazing year in Room 20, where we will learn, grow, support one another, and create lots of great memories together. I can't wait to meet all of our students and whānau and see what this year brings!
