My name is Philippa (Pip) Burchett and I am both an experienced and innovative teacher, having over 25 years experience ranging from New Entrants to Year 8. I have taught in both the Auckland and Waikato regions.
I have a very clear vision/belief about education and that is, ‘Learner at the Centre’. This informs everything I do in a classroom. I am a clear communicator and am very transparent in learning design, to ensure it meets ‘Learner at the Centre’. I will always encourage you to ask questions of me to fully understand your learning.
Recently I have swapped town life for rural riches. I now have 10 sheep and 5 cows. I am excited about having some room to grow and follow my dreams. I look forward to sharing my journey with you, especially when I get my highland cattle!
