Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whanau,

As you will all be aware, the changing COVID-19 Alert Levels have had an impact on a number of events in the Term 4 school calendar. Please find below an updated schedule for the first few weeks of the term. For the very latest updates please keep an eye on the Berkley website & Facebook page.

Aladdin Jnr.

The ongoing Alert Level 3 restrictions have meant that the remaining live performances of Aladdin Jnr. are unable to go ahead. We are currently working through our live streaming options with Ticketek. In the meantime, please hold onto your tickets and we will keep you updated as soon as we know more.

ICAS Examinations

We have been granted an extension till 26 November to sit the remaining assessments (science, English and mathematics). We will continue to keep you updated as information comes to hand.

Results for the Digital Technologies assessment are now available through the ICAS website.

Waikato Touch Association

The Waikato Touch Association has decided to cancel all of Term 4, 2021 Junior Touch modules - this includes the primary, Intermediate and Secondary School modules.

The WTA is planning for a return to the Junior Touch Modules in Term 1, 2022. They will keep everyone updated with the scheduled dates for the Term 1, 2022 Modules prior to the end of the year.

WIMS Events

The following WIMS events scheduled for Term 4 have now been cancelled: Softball, Lacrosse, Athletics and Orchestra Day.

The WIMS Speech competition has also been cancelled, however Berkley will be holding a modified school-based competition. Please contact your classroom teacher or see the Berkley Facebook page for details of how to enter.

Candace Mayall Dance

The 2021 CMD end of year dance show has been postponed to the end of Term 2, 2022. A series of fun, free classes for different age groups for CMD dancers to opt into have been planned once we return to Alert Level 2.

Yours sincerely

Nathan Leith
