MOVING TO THE COVID PROTECTION FRAMEWORK

Kia ora Berkley Community
You may have heard that on Friday 3 December the Waikato region will be moving to Orange on the new COVID-19 Traffic Light Framework. This is exciting news for Berkley as it means that our end of year events can go ahead as planned.
Although we are not able to welcome parents and whānau onsite to celebrate with us this year, we are looking forward to livestreaming a number of the end of year events with you. Along with making a recording of the End of Year Assemblies available to you, we are working on streaming these events on Monday 13 December via both Facebook Live and ZOOM. To prepare for this, we are planning to trial a Facebook livestream of this Friday’s class relays (weather permitting). Please keep an eye on our school website and the Berkley Facebook page for details of how to access these events.
As the end of 2021 comes closer I would like to thank the Berkley community for all that you have done to navigate with us through the last year, and in particular the last three months. Your positive support and feedback has been important to us as we have worked to provide opportunities for Berkley learners to take up the challenge.
